first_imgMartin Zumstein Martin Zumstein, Front Office Manager at The Westin Sydney was the joint winner of Front of House Employee of the Year at the AHA National Awards for Excellence 2010.The gala dinner was held at The Westin Sydney last night, attended by 490 Hotel industry professionals, all competing for the status of leader in their field in one of 35 categories.Martin commenced at The Westin Sydney in February 2001 as a Corporate Trainee.Over the past nine years, Martin has worked in every department in the hotel as part of his formal training. At the conclusion of his traineeship, he selected Front Office as his preferred department and since August 2009 has held the position of Front Office Manager.Martin was overjoyed when receiving the award stating “I would like to thank The Westin Sydney for encouraging me to evolve and grow over the past nine years.
