Byron’s bid for VR 232 in OCS Lease Sale 247, in March 2017, was rejected and this amount represented the value placed on the block by BOEM. Byron has mapped a gas and gas condensate prospect on the block with an in-house calculated gross prospective resource potential of 11 Bcf and 170,000 barrels. This prospect could be tested from the Byron operated SM71 F platform, but there are currently no plans to drill VR 232 until production levels at the platform allow it to be produced efficiently in the event of success. Also, Byron identified two other higher risk/higher reward exploration prospects on VR 232 which require further geophysical evaluation before a drilling decision is made.According to a participation agreement between Byron and Otto Energy from December 1, 2015, Otto elected to participate in the acquisition of VR 232, pending award, for a 50% interest in VR 232.Under the agreement, Otto must pay an amount equal to a gross 133% of Otto’s 50% interest share of acquisition costs, which includes the dry hole cost of the initial test well, plus a gross fifty percent 50% of other past costs paid by Byron. In electing to participate in VR 232, each company will own a 50% working interest and a 43.75% net revenue interest in the block. Upon the award of VR 232, Otto has no further rights to participate in any blocks or projects, including SM 74, under the December 2015 participation agreement.Byron also said that it identified several higher risk exploratory leads on both VR 251 and SM 70. These leads will be evaluated once Byron completes its South Marsh Island project seismic reprocessing work in late 2018.Apart from VR 232, the company placed a bid of $225,520 for the 5,000-acre VR 251 block and a bid of $273,370 for the 5,468-acre SM 70 block. Byron does not currently carry any in-house reserves for either of these blocks.Maynard Smith, Byron’s CEO, said: “We are very pleased to have received all seven of the leases we bid for in Sale 250.”“We have greatly expanded our footprint in the SM71 area where we now hold working interests in seven leases. By the end of the year, we will have newly processed Reverse Time Migration seismic data and inversion data over all of these leases.“We look forward to working with Otto on VR 232 and building further value upon the success of SM 71. Otto has been a very good partner at SM 71 and has displayed great patience after the VR 232 bid was rejected last year.“[…] now, through Sale 250, we have added a total of seven new blocks to our inventory of future projects. Our team is currently focused on the final planning for Bivouac Peak as we prepare to initiate the drilling phase of that project in the second half of 2018.”last_img read more

Leicester boss hands Ndidi new ‘nickname’ after miraculous recovery from surgery

first_img Loading… The Nigerian international had been scheduled to sit on the sidelines for four to six weeks after an operation to remove a floating bone from his meniscus. Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been branded a “machine” after making a miraculous recovery from knee surgery ahead of Wednesday night’s match against West Ham.Advertisement But just 13 days on from the surgery, he has a “great chance” of featuring at the King Power Stadium against the Hammers.Club boss Brendan Rodgers said the club’s long-serving head physio Dave Rennie had only seen one similarly speedy return to fitness from such an injury, by ex- midfielder Robbie Savage.“He’s made an incredible recovery,” Rodgers said of Ndidi.Rodgers“I spoke to Dave [Rennie] and I think the other one he had was Robbie Savage when he was here. He had a similar sort of injury and came back and played within a very short period of time.“The only other one I can remember was Luis Suarez who had a similar one during the 2014 World Cup. He came back for the group games after virtually a week when he’d gone away with Uruguay and thought he was out.“It’s all about the individual. Genetics more than anything.“Wilf is just a machine. The day after the operation he was on the move. Then he’s starting to jog.“If we were playing in an FA Cup final a few days ago he could probably have been playing in it. But we wanted to make sure the knee was clean. He’s been running, he’s been tackling, he’s been aggressive, he’s had the tests.“If there had been any effects then it would have taken place over the last few days, but he’s come through it really well.“It’s a testament to him and our medical team, the work that’s gone in to get him fit, that’s he’s available.“There will have been other players who unfortunately, genetically, won’t have got through it and had other issues.”At the last count, Leceister have failed to win any of three games since Ndidi’s absence after Premier League defeats to Burnley and Southampton alongside the draw with Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.Wilfred Ndidi is all smiles at Leicester City’s Belvoir Drive baseAnd Rodgers admitted that the Eagles star has been missed.“He’s so valuable to us,” Rodgers said. “That type of player, especially at this time of the season, is vital for you.“He gives a lot of the talent in the team that chance to express himself because of the ground that he covers. He’s like having two players.“He allows the team to defend and defend forward, he covers a lot of space for our attacking players, and there are not too many better him than do that job.“He’s a phenomenal player. So to have him back, and early, is a huge boost for us. He has been a miss, no doubt.’Machine’ – How Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi is following the paths of Robbie Savage and Luis Suarez – Leicestershire Live#LCFC #Premier_League— 90 Minutes Football News (@footy90com) January 21, 2020Read Also: Iwobi, Ndidi listed among most expensive players in the world“He’s improved. If you look at how he plays, it’s not just his aggression and his defensive side – he’s always available for the ball. He’s constantly on it and gets us playing forward.“His biggest strength is that he’s a learner. He has such an appetite to learn the game. He wants to know everything. For him as a young player, you can see the developments because he wants to. He looks after his life. That’s what’s going to give him a great career.“It’s great, great news for us, a big boost,” Rodgers was quoted as saying on分享 Promoted Content10 Risky Jobs Some Women Do6 Interesting Ways To Make Money With A Drone8 Ways Drones Will Automate Our Future5 Of The World’s Most Unique Theme Parks7 Black Hole Facts That Will Change Your View Of The Universe7 Ways To Understand Your Girlfriend BetterWhat Happens When You Eat Eggs Every Single Day?What Is A Black Hole And Is It Dangerous For Us All?7 Non-Obvious Things That Damage Your Phone6 Incredibly Strange Facts About Hurricanes11 Most Immersive Game To Play On Your Table TopThe Very Last Bitcoin Will Be Mined Around 2140.
