“I know some of you have asked about the M&M’s,” Goodell said. “They’re still within reach and they are getting lower.”Goodell showed a final update of his M&M’s jar at the end of the draft, but it was essentially at the same amount as it was when we last saw it. We expect it will be filled back up for the start of the fourth round on Saturday. While the story doesn’t specify, we’d guess these are peanut M&M’s due to the size.Goodell wasn’t lying when he said they were his favorite snack, because they started vanishing rapidly.Roger Goodell has put quite the dent in his jar of M&Ms.#NFLDraft pic.twitter.com/F8u1bvADN2— Sporting News (@sportingnews) April 25, 2020The commissioner then moved battlestations by the time the third round was a few picks in. Instead of standing, he moved to his chair to get a little more comfortable. And at first it looked like his jar of M&M’s was gone. They were not in the scene anymore, but he must have gotten hungry in between picks because the jar made another appearance. At the start of Round 2, Goodell had a full jar of M&M’s.MORE 2020 NFL DRAFT:Full results | Live grades | Winners, losers Shortly thereafter, the M&M’s were gone again. As people started to wonder what was going on with his special M&M’s jar, Goodell ensured us not to worry. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell typically doesn’t get involved with Day 2 of the NFL Draft, but since he’s stuck at home with nothing to do he figured, “Why not?”Goodell is announcing all of the Round 2 and Round 3 picks of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he’s been doing so with a large jar of M&M’s in plain view. The jar was also there during Round 1, but it became more of a talking point during the second day. read more
