first_imgAllied Bakeries has unveiled plans for its Kingsmill Head Start omega-3-enriched brand as it pushes into the functional foods market.Jackie Harold, senior product manager for Kingsmill rolls and snacks, said the Head Start brand would be developed for many other products, with Allied soon to begin advertising.Speaking as Kingsmill this week unveiled Head Start rolls, aimed at children, Harold said the taste of the Head Start bread and rolls was indistinguishable from that of normal Kingsmill bread, which would continue to be sold.Production was little different from normal production, she said, apart from the need to ensure the fish-derived omega-3 did not contaminate other products.The white rolls are produced at bakeries in Cardiff, Belfast and Orpington in Kent. Nine cities reported to have more than 1,000 active COVID-19 cases

first_imgNine cities across the country have more than 1,000 active COVID-19 cases, the national COVID-19 task force announced on Wednesday.Dewi Nur Aisyah, an epidemiologist and member of the task force’s expert team, said that all cities in Jakarta had reported more than 1,000 active coronavirus cases. Central Jakarta has the highest number of active cases in the country with 2,213, followed by North Jakarta (1,775), South Jakarta (1,309) East Jakarta (1,305) and West Jakarta (1,268). Outside of Jakarta, Central Java’s capital city, Semarang, recorded 1,681 active cases, followed by the South Sulawesi capital, Makassar (1,511), the North Sumatra capital, Medan (1,377) and the East Java capital, Surabaya (1,283).Read also: Highest daily spike sees Jakarta logging 658 new COVID-19 cases“These [cities] need extra attention as they have a high rate of activity and mobility.
