Who funds Cuomo’s Puerto Rico trips?

first_imgHere are some questions for the taxpayers and legislators of New York state. What do you think is Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s motives are for all these trips to Puerto Rico? Is he allowed to use New York states’ resources, including money, manpower and air transportation, without questions as to who funded these trips? Is there no ethics committee with any guts to question his spending taxpayers’ funds without authorization or file charges against him? Finally, could it be that New York state has a large Puerto Rican population in our state and Cuomo’s using our resources to further his political ambitions? Either way, there must be checks and balances and accountability even for the self-appointed king of New York. Question is, where is it?Rick SplawnikAmsterdamMore from The Daily Gazette:EDITORIAL: Thruway tax unfair to working motoristsEDITORIAL: Urgent: Today is the last day to complete the censusFoss: Should main downtown branch of the Schenectady County Public Library reopen?EDITORIAL: Find a way to get family members into nursing homesEDITORIAL: Beware of voter intimidation Categories: Letters to the Editor, Opinionlast_img read more
